Slugger Rifled Slugs have been the Federal law enforcement standard for decades, and for good reason. Nothing shoots straighter and hits harder in no-compromise situations. Recent design improvements include an over sizing of the slug diameter for better gas sealing, and the addition of a high density polymer disk under the slug which produces a perfectly aligned exit from the muzzle for dramatically enhanced accuracy.
Remington Slugger 12 Gauge ammo is slightly over-sized for great smooth-bore shotgun performance, resulting in better sealing against the barrel wall and more consistent shot-to-shot velocities
