Atomic Ammunition’s .30-30 Win 165gr subsonic ammo gives suppressed lever-action shooters a purpose-built load for hog control and quiet hunting. The flat nose bullet is suited to tube-magazine rifles, delivers useful close-range energy, and keeps report manageable with a suppressor.
Threaded lever-action rifles are one of the fastest-growing segments in the suppressor market, and until now, there was no subsonic .30-30 to feed them. Atomic’s 165gr subsonic fills that gap. At 1,050 fps with a suppressor, the .30-30 drops below 125 dB – hearing-safe and dramatically quieter than the 160+ dB of standard loads. The 404 ft-lbs of muzzle energy is sufficient for ethical deer harvests within 100 yards, and the subsonic report won’t spook an entire hog sounder or alarm neighbors. For hunters managing game on agricultural land, near residential areas, or on small properties, this is a capability that simply didn’t exist before Atomic.
